Tart and Tangy Card Set

I've been wanting to try and make some type of card holder for some time. I found this pattern "somewhere" in cyberspace. Sorry I can't find it again to give credit to the person who gave the measurements. The white ribbon actually ties in a knot. The stamp set is Tart and Tangy from Stampin Up. The inks used were old olive, pumpkin pie, rose red and real red. The paper was Whisper White, SU DP and Old Olive. It's been so much fun to get back into my stamp room and make something.
These are the four cards and envelopes I made to go in the card holder. All of the stamps and paper are from Stampin Up. The embellishments were ribbons, brads, white gel pen and punches. I hope you enjoy looking. Have a great day!
This card has "Orange you cute" stamped on it. I love this paper!
This strawberry card was fun. I wanted to write "Thank you Berry Much!" on it, but forgot. Then I decided to leave it as a blank note card. This card was the toughest one for me. It's a gate card with a belly band. I added the pearls for lack of any other ideas of how to jazz it up.
I stamped one piece of fruit on the front of each of the envelopes. Have a great week! I think this makes up for some of my lack of posting over the last month.

Second Card for the Sketch Challenge

This card is also for Sketch Challenge 177 at Splitcoast. I used "A Little Bit of Happiness" from SU. The papers used are Pretty in Pink, Vellum and SU DP. I embossed the image on the vellum with white EP and colored the back side with my Stampin Write pens. Thank you for looking!

Two Cards - Two Challenges - Yippee!

It's amazing, I'm posting to my blog twice in one week. The weather here is rainy and cold and I didn't have to work today. I found my stamp room again and decided I would get back into the Splitcoast Challenge mode.

This is the first card I made today to fill two challenges - Color Challenge 167 and Sketch Challenge 177. I used the Always set from Stampin Up with the colors of Soft Sky, Blue Bayou and Certainly Celery. It's also the first time that I've used the SU rub-ons. Hope you like it!

Happy Hellos!!!!

Well, It's been a very long time. I've been trying for the last week to get back into making cards, but to no avail. My creativity seems to have up and left. This morning I went in to my craft room and attempted another time and.....alas, it might be coming back. I hope you like this card. The paper used was real red, whisper white and Staminup DP. I cuttlebugged the white so that it would look like old fashioned dotted swiss. The cherries have four coats of clear embossing powder. Thank you for having patience with me. I made three other cards this morning and will try and post them tonight when I get home from work. Have a great day!
