Sympathy Card for Nicole

One of the members of my team at Beall's lost her grandmother last week. Nicole traveled to Texas over the weekend for the funeral and will be back in town today. I wanted to make a sympathy card for both her and her family to let them know my thoughts and prayers are with them. I think sympathy cards are so difficult to make, but am pleased with this one. It's difficult to see, but there is a slight shimmer to the body and wings. Thank you for your comments!

Coffee and Friends

I'm back. Actually, I haven't been very far. I've made quite a few cards, but I have a friend who has taken them to sell them at a gift shop. I couldn't get any pictures before she left with them. I made this card yesterday after receiving my very first set of nestabilities on Saturday. Boy, am I hooked. I can't wait to order some more of these "neccestanestabilities!" (They are necessary, aren't they?) This card is actually cuter in person. The coffee steam sparkles, which I don't think you can see in the picture. Thank you for looking and leaving your comments!

Rain Dance

This card was made for the sketch challenge #209 over at Splitcoast. The colors of the solid paper are a little strange together (Riding Hood Red, Always Artichoke nd More Mustard), but they seem to work with the pattern paper which was from my scrap bin. I used copper embossing powder, flowers and brads. I struggled over where to put a ribbon, but decided on the flowers instead. Have a great day!

Floral Dance

I made this card for some very dear friends of mine who dance Argentine Tango. I used Real Red, Whisper White and Basic Black papers. The sentiment is from Angie B Co and the Background is fromn Stampin Up. I used Versamark ink with black embossing powder and silver embossing powder. The embellishments are ribbon, tiny rhinestones and the corner ticket punch. Thank you for looking! Happy New Year!
