Antique Armoire?

Well I had a few minutes before I had to go to work and decided to try and Inspiration Challenge from Splitcoast. I've decided to call this card a "barn door gate fold card." What do you think? I used bashful blue and whisper white and the stamp set SU "simply silhouettes". At least I think that's the name - sorry I'm already at work and can't check the box. Thank you for all of your constructive comments. Have a blessed Sunday!

New Double Challenge Kindness Card

I think this is one of my new favorite cards. I made it for Splitcoast challenge SC179 and CC168. I versamarked the sage shadow and VV with SU Baroque Motifs and applied dazzling diamonds to the Very Vanilla so that it would resemble an elegant ribbon. I stamped the center with Sage Shadow and Chocolate Chip using SU's Just Kindness. Then I outlined the K with dazzling diamonds. I had some Swarovski crystals laying around and applied them to the center motif. After tying the ribbon....Voila....a new kindness card. Click on the image so that you can see it up close. It's much prettier in real life than in the picture. Thank you for looking and commenting.

Manly One of a Kind

I fell in love with this older color challenge on Splitcoast. The challenge number is CC132 and uses River Rock, Really Rust and Chocolate Chip. I used my blender pens and my stamp pads to color the image. I cheated and used a little pumpkin pie to give some depth to the flower. The center has a triple coating of UTEE and I versamarked the background papers. The stamp set is "One of a Kind" from SU. I thought that if I don't have time to make a different one, I can use this for my hubby's father's day card. Thank you for taking the time to look and comment. Have a glorious day!

Another Organizational Item

I found these really neat bead organizers at Walmart and spent some time organizing my brads into the two I bought the other day. I'm going back for more. The inside containers have screw on lids and the outside box is acrylic. Even if all the inside containers spill out, none of the brads will get loose. I find it easier to use than the SU storage cases. I like being able to pull one clear box and look at them to decide what I'm going to use or order. I'm going back to buy five more to organize the rest of my brads, crystals and eyelets.... maybe I should get ten more... They're 5.95 each and are in the craft section at Walmart.

Tart and Tangy Card Set

I've been wanting to try and make some type of card holder for some time. I found this pattern "somewhere" in cyberspace. Sorry I can't find it again to give credit to the person who gave the measurements. The white ribbon actually ties in a knot. The stamp set is Tart and Tangy from Stampin Up. The inks used were old olive, pumpkin pie, rose red and real red. The paper was Whisper White, SU DP and Old Olive. It's been so much fun to get back into my stamp room and make something.
These are the four cards and envelopes I made to go in the card holder. All of the stamps and paper are from Stampin Up. The embellishments were ribbons, brads, white gel pen and punches. I hope you enjoy looking. Have a great day!
This card has "Orange you cute" stamped on it. I love this paper!
This strawberry card was fun. I wanted to write "Thank you Berry Much!" on it, but forgot. Then I decided to leave it as a blank note card. This card was the toughest one for me. It's a gate card with a belly band. I added the pearls for lack of any other ideas of how to jazz it up.
I stamped one piece of fruit on the front of each of the envelopes. Have a great week! I think this makes up for some of my lack of posting over the last month.

Second Card for the Sketch Challenge

This card is also for Sketch Challenge 177 at Splitcoast. I used "A Little Bit of Happiness" from SU. The papers used are Pretty in Pink, Vellum and SU DP. I embossed the image on the vellum with white EP and colored the back side with my Stampin Write pens. Thank you for looking!
